I regularly read stories of CMS websites suffering performance issues. I created several Drupal driven websites recently and have left off many features, such as nice looking URLs, because of performance fears. Well this guy has had no problems, and has survived a slashdot and digg surge. Great to hear such news. He is running a dedicated server, but also a lot of modules. This demonstrates that with suitable scaling it is possible to run heavy traffic sites with Drupal.
